Kookmin University Wraps Up Seoul Campus Town 'AI Vibe Coding Hackathon'

As part of the Seoul Campus Town program, Kookmin University wrapped up its 'No-Code AI Mobile App Idea Hackathon (AI Vibe Coding Hackathon)' on September 20. Held at AWS Yeoksam Center Field in partnership with cloud operations specialist NXT Cloud, the hackathon was designed around generative AI and natural-language vibe coding so participants could deploy working web and app service prototypes themselves. Out of 82 applicants, 70 participants in 16 teams were selected, and they completed eight hours of pre-training, including online learning on AWS Skill Builder and hands-on practice in a cloud environment (EC2 code-server). All 16 teams built and demoed AI agent-based services, and 69 of the 70 participants completed the program, a 98.6% completion rate.
